For over 25 years the annual British Antique Dealers’ Association’s (BADA) BADA fair has been the Spring highlight for the fine art, design and antiques community, showcasing remarkable objects of outstanding quality from 100 of the UK’s leading dealers.
The event, which takes place in the Duke of York Square, Kings Road, Chelsea between 20 – 26 March, offers collectors, curators, art professionals and interior designers from across the world, the chance to meet BADA dealers, benefit from their extensive expertise and purchase exceptional pieces of traditional, modern and contemporary art and antiques.
As the Conservation Partner for BADA 2019, Plowden & Smith experts will be on stand E16 everyday of the fair, showcasing a range of restoration and conservation techniques and processes, including alabaster carving, verre eglomise, restoring lost patination on bronze, and the process of conservation cleaning on a range of works of art.
